Coffee, Cards, and a Goatee.

Just got back from the doctor to get the packing out. For those of you who have never had packing in your nose (I'm assuming that's most of you), its basically this hard...gel?...plastic?...gauze-esque?....substance that fills up the majority of your nasal/sinus cavity and sticks out of your nostrils, kind of like a bandage for the inside of your nose. But it hurts like hell. Its so thick and...i dont know. It feels like having a broomstick up each nostril for 5 days. It's not pleasant. But I got it taken out today, which hurt like you don't know (it felt like someone sucking a golfball through your ass, up your spine, and out of your nose), but Dr. Fox was pretty good about it and had it all over in about 5 seconds, and afterwards i felt much better. I did make an imprint of my fingers where I gripped the arms of the chair really hard, but thats ok I guess.

But on to the amazing part! Remember those 6 surprise polyps? Guess where they were? IN BETWEEN MY EYE AND MY BRAIN. Seriously! They were cutting, sucking, and burning things out of my head, working in a space you couldn't get your pinky in, and a milimeter to either side would have made me blind, or given me brain damage. Hot damn thats a sensitive spot!

Luckily, I got away without any of that kind of damage. I think. If I start bumping into walls or forgetting a lot of stuff, someone point this post out as a likely culprit.
